Qualified Provider of Electronic Trust Services EDIN ID, ATS LLC (hereinafter - the Provider)
- provides electronic trust services and ensures the maintenance of users' public key certificates.
- the Provider carries out its activities in the field of providing qualified electronic trust services to enterprises, institutions and organizations of all forms of ownership, other business entities and individuals on a contractual basis.
List of qualified electronic trust services provided by the Provider:
- creation, verification and validation of a qualified electronic signature or seal
- generation, verification and validation of the validity of a qualified electronic signature or seal certificate
- generation, verification and validation of a qualified electronic timestamp
The Provider has the right to provide these qualified electronic trust services both separately and in combination, and also to choose which standards defined by law will be applied when providing electronic trust services. The provision of these services is carried out by the Provider in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, the Work Regulations and on the basis of a concluded Agreement or an Accession Agreement concluded by signing the relevant Application.
The provision of electronic digital signature services includes:
- use of reliable electronic signature means
- certificate maintenance (generation, blocking, renewal, revocation)
- providing assistance in generating subscriber keys
- providing information on the status of the subscriber's certificate
- consulting applicants
To ensure the provision of qualified electronic trust services, the Provider uses QES means that have a positive expert opinion based on the results of state examination in the field of cryptographic information protection.
Qualified electronic trust services for the creation, verification and validation of a qualified electronic signature or seal include:
- providing users with reliable QES means for generating key pairs, creating and storing a qualified electronic signature or seal
- the ability to use QES means hosted with the Provider – ensuring key generation and management on behalf of the signer or creator of the electronic seal
- providing for use a reliable QES means "User Software Suite of the Certification Authority 'IIT User CA-1'" (hereinafter the Software Suite) or access to part of the resource of the qualified electronic signature or seal means located with the Provider
- technical support and maintenance of QES means, guaranteeing their security and compliance with current legislation
The Provider's provision of QES means, in the form of separate software applications or software modules (crypto libraries) that function as part of other software applications, may be carried out by transferring these means on information media directly to the signer or by providing access through the official website, or through the Provider's services.
Restrictions on the use of Certificates issued by the Provider
The Provider has the right to establish restrictions on the scope of use of the certificates it issues. Information regarding the restriction of the scope of use is communicated to the applicant (signer) and indicated in the issued Certificate.
Qualified certificates may contain information on restrictions on the use of a qualified electronic signature or seal. The user is obliged to use the qualified certificate in accordance with the purpose of the public key specified therein and the restrictions on its use.
The Provider notifies users in advance and in an appropriate manner of the restrictions on the use of the electronic trust services it provides, and these restrictions are understandable to users, and is not liable for damages arising from the use of electronic trust services in violation of these restrictions.
The user is obliged to use the qualified certificate in accordance with the purpose of the public key specified therein and the restrictions on its use. This means that the user is solely responsible for the correct application of trust services within the limits of the defined rules and conditions of their use.
The use of a key certificate issued by the Provider for a specific scope of use in other areas is not permitted.
The Provider provides information on the status of the certificate (valid/revoked/blocked) upon request for interactive verification by viewing the certificate status in the Certificate Search menu and by generating a Certificate Revocation List (CRL).
A qualified public key certificate of a signer is considered valid if at the time of validity verification:
- the validity period specified in the client's qualified public key certificate has not expired
- the status of the client's qualified public key certificate has not been changed to revoked or blocked on the grounds specified in the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Trust Services"
- according to the previous two criteria, the Provider's qualified public key certificate was valid
